One pot turkey...

It's quick, it's cheap and it's good! Three great reasons to try this dish - minimum three ;) In total this dinner for two (actually two dinners, we divided it for two evenings) cost me around EUR 4.00 - what a great bargain! The key was the fact that I bought 4 turkey drumsticks for just EUR 1,59! I suppose that this will go well with any kind of meat - whatever you will find in the shop on promotion that day ;)

How to make it...

Ingredients:
- 4 turkey drumsticks
- 1 slice bacon rash
- 1 big red onion
- 1 hand full frozen beans
- 1 handful frozen (or fresh) baby carrots
- few new potatoes
- 1 tray of mushrooms
- 3 gloves of garlic
- 1 yellow pepper
- salt, pepper, herbs
- 1 litre beef (chicken or whatever you got) stock
- oil for frying

Season the turkey, to your taste, and fry it with roughly cut bacon -just to brown it. In a big pot heat the stock. After the turkey is brown on the outside transfer it to the pot and add chopped potatoes, carrots and green beans. On the same frying pan fry onion, pepper, mushrooms and garlic. As soon as it's lightly fried add it to the turkey. Season to taste. Cover and simmer for about 1 hour. Serve hot.

Smacznego!
